Dear White Oak Clients,

Greetings from Asheville, NC – we’re back in the office with power, phones, and internet access. We do not yet have water, but hoping that is not too far behind.

Thank you to the many people who emailed, called, and texted us to inquire about our health and safety and to offer your support and caring. As I said last Sunday, everyone in the office is safe. Asheville is slowly making progress. Power and other utilities are being restored. Grocery stores and gas stations are beginning to reopen, which significantly reduces the stress of finding water, ice, and food without the worry of running out of gas. There are of course those parts of Western North Carolina that were particularly hard hit that will recover much more slowly and we are all concerned over the safety of the people living in those areas.

I also want to thank those clients who did have pressing needs this week for their patience and understanding as we worked to find ways to accomplish what needed to be done.

Beginning next week, the office should be something close to normal operations. The office will be open and staffed, and hopefully we won’t experience any setbacks to the services we have today.

If you have questions or if you have a need that you delayed because of the situation, please get in touch.

Thank you again for your kindness, support, and patience.

Onward!
