Greetings White Oak Clients,

This is Brent working on Priestley’s computer at a temporary office (a Starbucks in Charlotte).

As most of you have probably heard, Asheville was hit very hard by Helene on Friday. Tremendous flooding, untold numbers of downed trees and blocked roads, power is out as is the internet, telephone, most cell service, and of last night water. Everyone in the office is fine, although communication is particularly difficult, but I suspect that will be the first thing to improve. We are beginning to have some spotty cell service today.

If you need us to help for money movement or anything else related to your accounts, please continue to try to reach us through the typical channels you use – call the office, call our cell phones, email us, or text us. The office phones are routed to Priestley’s cell phone and you may leave a message if the call does not go through. As cell services comes back, even if temporarily, we should receive your emails, texts, and notifications of a voice-mail on the office phone. We will try to respond as quickly as we can and handle whatever it is that you need.

We are working to develop the means to be available to you in a more regular way in the coming days. Our computer systems require only an internet connection to work with Fidelity, so setting up shop in a Starbucks or somewhere like that may be the answer. Currently we have to leave Asheville and get far enough beyond the disaster area to access stable internet. We’ll see how that evolves over the coming days.

Please know we are ever-mindful of our responsibilities to you and we very much appreciate your patience. We will work to keep the communications coming.
